Balance Classes

Balance Techniques (BTQ)

Beginner

Explore the globes, German wheel, rolla bola, low wire, and unicycle, and test your equilibrium in the circus arts. Ages 7–15.

Contortion (CO)

Intermediate

The art of contortion demonstrates flexibility, style, and balance.  This unique class will especially work on stretching to increase flexibility.  Ages 8-21.  See class schedule.

German Wheel (GW)

Beginner

A rolling 8-foot steel apparatus with hand and foot settings that encourages balance and agility. Ages 10–21.  See class schedule.

Globes (GL)

Beginner

Perch atop over-sized balls to develop balance and foot dexterity. Progressively challenging levels will learn acrobatic flips/cartwheels and ramp maneuvering. Ages 6–21. Level 1 classes are divided by age group.  See class schedule.

Hand Stands (HAS)

Advanced

For those who have the ability to hold a handstand.  More advanced techniques such as balancing on blocks and one- and two-hand tricks will also be taught. Ages 8-21.  See class schedule.

High Wire (HW)

Advanced

High altitude fearlessness on a 5/8-inch-thick cable. Learn walking, bikes, rims, pyramids, headstands, chairs, and juggling. Ages 10–21.  See class schedule.

Low Wire (LW)

Beginner

A slender strand of steel three feet off the ground. A great introduction—the delight without the height! Ages 10–21.  See class schedule.

Advanced balancing techniques on a 20-foot pole, rolla bolla board, and chair stacking. Ages 10–21.
